On Tuesday, November 28, 2023, the Hotstage Team from Ahmad Dahlan University successfully conducted a collaborative and innovative research visit to PT Alfa Mas Sakti, located in Semarang, Central Java. The primary objective of this visit was to explore potential cooperation and collaboration between the Hotstage Team of Ahmad Dahlan University and PT Alfa Mas Sakti.

During the meeting, a series of activities were successfully carried out. The first session included an insightful presentation on the background and establishment of PT Alfa Mas Sakti, delivered by Mr. Tofan Kristanto, the founder of PT Alfa Mas Sakti. This explanation provided a deep understanding of the company’s history and development, laying a solid foundation for the Hotstage Team to grasp the context of potential collaboration. The journey of CV Alfa Mas Sakti evolving into a multi-focus company inspired and instilled an entrepreneurial spirit in the Hotstage Team members, particularly the students.

In 2008, Mr. Tofan began building a CV named Alfa Mas Sakti, driven by the challenges he faced, including pressure and underestimation from others. Over time, Mr. Tofan proved his ability to establish and grow CV Alfa Mas Sakti, which today not only maintains its focus on machinery development but also initiates projects in hospitality, pharmaceutical laboratory equipment, and various other sectors as a response to the ever-evolving market challenges. In 2011, CV Alfa Mas Sakti transformed into PT Alfa Mas Sakti. In running the business, Mr. Tofan and his team consistently applied a family-oriented principle. He believes that this approach fosters a strong foundation for building close relationships among team members and creates a collaborative and enthusiastic work environment. Furthermore, Mr. Tofan continuously integrates Islamic values into his business development. Principles such as fairness, transparency, and social responsibility serve as the main guidelines in shaping the company’s strategies and policies.

The next session focused on introductions and team-building activities between members of the Hotstage Team from Ahmad Dahlan University and the PT Alfa Mas Sakti team. These activities fostered strong personal connections, reinforced positive bonds between the teams, and enhanced collaboration potential by deepening mutual understanding of each individual’s character and capabilities.

The final session, a Q&A, provided an opportunity for members of both teams to exchange further information, explore collaboration possibilities in greater depth, and address any questions or uncertainties that arose during the meeting. Overall, this meeting is expected to not only establish a strong foundation for fruitful future cooperation between the Hotstage Team of Ahmad Dahlan University and PT Alfa Mas Sakti but also inspire students to actively engage in innovation and entrepreneurship.
